B Series Dohc Vtec Valve Cover Variants

What’s up guys. So everywhere I read, it says there are 2 variants for the b series dohc vtec valve covers. The little dohc big Vtec b16/jdm Type R valve cover, and the big dohc little Vtec GSR/usdm Type R valve cover.

I have recently seen a 3rd variant. However, I do not know which vehicle it pertains to. Do you guys know what car this valve cover came on? Or if this valve cover is a special edition series or somthing?

The B16/JDM Type R valve cover has a little dohc, big vtec, a Honda emblem and it says HONDA on the bottom.
The GSR/USDM Type R valve cover has a big dohc,little vtec, and says HONDA MOTOR CO.
The valve cover in question is a mixture of both. Has a big dohc, little vtec, a Honda emblem, and says HONDA MOTOR CO.

i think that 3rd one you have in question is for a first generation b16a motor set. I had to look extra hard to tell the difference, but yea the “vtec” is smaller in the valvecover in question.

Thanks guys! I have been wondering this for a while now. I now have the info I need to start sourcing one. I much prefer this valve cover over the more popular little dohc big vtec b16 valve cover.
