in reguards to hondamotorsonline does anyone think it is worth the extra like 450 for the sir2? Its only 10hp so i dont know if it is worth it. Also does anyone know how high a b16 can saftley rev?

not worth it for the 10hp if you have a 90-91 but if you have a 92-93 I would say go for it…makes wiring much easier! Safely rev to 8,200 stock
jdmhondaparts has very bad customer service and i get the feeling they’re not trying to make a sale, what shop DOESN’t have b16s? (jdhondaparts didn’t for some reason) i mean they’re more common than alteezas, hehe.
From my inquires, i’d say go for hondamotorsonline, and nippon motors, they responded to my questions fast and friendly.

i put 8000 miles on the motor with no problems so far in the sol
how much was shipping from them? I think they told me like $300 before. How long did it take to receive it?

My friend kyle got a motor from hondamotorsonline.com and it came clean and actually on a crate and with the whole wiring harness intact with all of the plugs still there. i think it was 250 for shipping to wisconsin but he had it sent to work so i am unsure about residential shipping prices.
buddy just got his SIR1 b16 from hondamotorsonline he found something wrong with the starter and they just said wrap it up send it to us and sent him a new one. he recommended them to me for my b20b/z.
