Ok, i searched on this and everything that came up was left unsanswered. Im wiring up the knock sensor on the b16a (non obd if it matters) and since the motor didnt have the knock sensor plug on it, im using the plug from the ls block thats the same size. The only difference between the two are the b16 has the one wire and the one from the b18 (oil pressure i believe) has two wires. One is black (im assuming ground?) and one is white i believe. To wire it correctly, i can just cut off that old sensor, wire the colored wire to the knock sensor wire that goes to the ecu, and leave the black wire off correct? I really wanted to make sure this will work and wont give any problems… Also, the ecu is throwing a code 9 all of a sudden. I cant find any info on it except it means ‘no. 1 cylinder position’ I read a little about it being a distributer problem, and i popped the cap and theres a couple metal copper wire shavings inside. Is the distributer bad? What could have caused this all of a sudden? Also, where can you get b16 obd0 distributers?
Thanks
