b16 obd0 pw0 cel code 23... pause...then 2?? cant find code 2. help.

i already know somethings up with my knock sensor. ill take care of that myself

after the engine gets hot, (not warm)…

and im going relatively slow… i get a cel.

i pull back rug… and count cel code 23… then it pauses… then it blinks 2 short.

ive never seen this. and the teg tips dont have anyhting for code 2.

anyone? i will keep searching.

in the past, i ive gotten cel code 22, and 23 at the same time. loose wire on code 22. fixed.

i’m having same problem, and i still can’t figure it out… did you change your o2 sensors? i changed mine and i still get a code 2

found this on honda-tech.

1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
2 O2B - Oxygen sensor #2
3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
4 CKP - crank position sensor
5 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor

YOU shouldnt have a problem… since u replaced ur oxygen sensors, right?

maybe try wiring them directly???

o2 sensor goes into c8 of the pw0 ecu.

hey… but why wouldnt there be these codes on the teg tips???

watever :cookie:

i’ve rewired the wiring already and they are wired directly too, also do you get bogging when cruising?

yes i do. at partial throttle between 3k rpm and 4,1k rmp. it goes smooth after 4.2k… or if im at wot… but thats normal. because my 2nd o2 sensor is not hooked up.

ur on a tuff one. hehe. u have em both connected… yet still suffer the symptoms as if it wasnt.

why dont u try switching o2 sensor #2 from c8 to c16.

man, FUCK this ecu shit. so confusing.

i’ve switched them already, many times! I’m giving up on obd0 and going to obd1 soon because of this, but I need to figure this problem out now because i don’t have the money to do that yet or anytime soon, so if i could get help on this i would appreciate it from someone!

yea… me and you are the same.

i guess were gonna have to obd1.

i bet ill have the same problem as you… after i hook up my second o2 sensor.

what sucks about me, is that no matter what i do, i get a knock sensor code.

i tried new sensor, direct wire, no wire, even grounding that bitch i would get it less… another weird thing= i have it disconnected for a while… and i would get the cel light even LESS than if it was connected.

agh. o well. maybe we can get more input on this… but ive already read up on a TON of similiar problems on g2ic. maybe its just… common.

there has to be a way to fix it though :frowning:

aww dont be sad. :bawl:

ive never failed at solving a g2 problem.

im even MORE motivated to finally fix this crap only cuz i wont be the only one happy.

and yea… i wanna go obd1 but no time to go shopping. and no money to spend on just that.

maybe ill try what i HAVENT tried yet…

spitting on it, yelling at it… cursing at it.

i already wasted ao much time caressing and hugging and praying for it to work after EVERY time i switch wires. lol

i think my ecu just loves the attention

:gay:

lol

i even tried another ecu, that i wasted money on and i can’t sell it because no one buys obd0 ecu’s :frowning: so yeah i don’t know what to do, other than re wiring it again?

DAM. u did?>??? if ANOTHER ecu dont work… then that rules out the ecu. maybe its your o2 sensor?? wire? brand new, u say?

im in the business… im a computer tech. im stumped.

i think u were at the santiago meet too.

yeah my o2 sensors are brand new, i only get code 2 o2 sensor, never the code 1 which is the other o2 sensor, so i don’t know either, i also left both of them unplugged to see if the both codes come up and they do and it drives even more horrible. so for sure the 1st oxygen sensor is working but the 2nd one isn’t reading or something?

AHHH i need to fix this, it drives me crazy

awap sensors? o2 sensor 1 on c8?? tried that? u KNOW that the 1st sensor works… so if u swapped, u would get a cel code 1, no?

hey where is the o2 sensor #1 on the ecu??

i forgot where o2 sensor 1 is, but even when i swap o2 sensors i get a code 2, so something is wrong with the 2nd o2 sensors wiring to c8 i guess but i re did it twice! so i don’t understand what the problem is
