B16 pistons...which do i use?????

okee…i did some looking in the forum and all i seem to find is LS/Vtec questions so if anyone does find this on here im sorry but i did atleast try to look for it…:slight_smile:

Okee, i have a b18a1 engine and it has about 154,XXX miles on the engine. this is wut i have on as of today:

CP CAI
JG regrind cams (I and E)
JG Cam Sprockets
MSD blaster coil 2
Thermal R&D Cat-back
NGK 8mm spark wires.

I heard that if i put B16 pistons in mah car it will bump the CR up.but there are pr3 and p30 b16 pisotns. which do i use?What will i need to do to the LS rods? Should i consider the mileage a big factor? wut else do i need to do? THIS IS A STRICT BUDGET CAR****

to use the pr3 pistons all you need to do is have the stock wrist pins pressed off to remove the pistons from the rods, and then have the pins pressed back on with the pr3’s in place.

might be a good idea to use new wrist pins, but im not sure if it is a must.

also if you have the cash ya might wannt have the ls rods shotpeened if your planning on pushing the motor.
