b16a head on stock b18c block

Will that make anymore torque/hp than a stock b16. I got a good deal on the block(w/ roughly 30,000 miles) but dont have the funds to go crazy with it. IF i run the stock block would i get anything?

Actually using a B16A (PR3) head on a B18C1 block will lower your compression, because the PR3 head has a larger quench area. Now if you used some ITR pistons or JDM ITR pistons in that B18C1 block, then the PR3 head would be a wise choice. Let me know if you have any other questions. Later.

What will the compression be about the the ITR or JDM ITR pistons? IF I upgrade to those pistons would it be worth ditching my b16 bottom end? or would i have to upgrade justbout everything (pistons, rods, the whole 9 yards)? thanks for your help.

check this out: http://tiiite.b16a.com/pistons.htm

that should give you all the info you need.
