I have a B16 in my 90 integra, and I did not use the stock b16a header because it was to short. Now, for the last 2 months I have been using the stock exhaust manifold with one o2 sensor. Anyone who has this swap, or has had it knows this is wrong, and I have been getting a check engine light because the ecu is looking for the other o2 sensor.
I just bought a dc sports header for a 90 integra, and I am going to weld a bung hole for the two o2 sensors. If anyone has done this, please let me know where you went and how much.
TIA
contact hasport and or get the ECU pin out and wire the other O2 sensor to that pin.
joe aka carchitect is going to perform this modification for me for my obd0-obd1 conversion(place the o2 sensor further down the downpipe) I’ll email him a link to this thread he should be helpful to you.
Hey brian, why don’t you sell him your b16a header and get a DC 4 into one (stainless only!!) for a type R and we can install it into your DA?
Joe.

that would be a good idea—but unless someones willing to pay me what that header costs that wont be happening anttime soon hehe
Well, I have done a little research on this problem I am having
and I have it all figured out. Just one thing that maybe someone
could answer for me. Below I have picture of a 90-91 dc sports
header that has been modified for the pr3 ecu (2 o2 sensors
bung holes) Now 1 o2 sensor is suppose to monitor cylinders
1&4, while the other 2&3. The way this header is modified, it
looks like the sensors wouldn’t be able to function properly.
Shouldn’t the holes be further down on the secondary pipe?
The way that it is setup in the picture makes it look like the sensors are only monitoring cylinders 4&3.
looks fine to me…it will work
Remember that cylinder order is 1-3-2-4, not 1-2-3-4, so it would be monitoring cylinders 2 and 4, but it does look like the O2 sensors should be placed lower on the EM
they do need to be on the lower portion…I know this because I still have the manifold that came with my B16 sitting my garage to look at and that is how it’s set up…I hate to do it to my DC header…but I might have to to get it to pass emissions this year…
I just had my aftermarket header done for the 2 o2 sensor setup, and I have it on the lower part of the header, I had it done at a local muffler place for $60.
