b16a into da9 what rear tbracket do i use??

Ok well im swapping in this b16a from my del sol to the da shell. I got the cable to hydro MOUNT on the trans. I am trying to figure out which rear mount bracket to use on the back. I have one from a del sol that was bolted to the b16 in that car. And i also have the sto k b18 from the da shell. The stock b18 one bolt holes are to small for the bolts that hold it on the trans. And the del sol one is to wide at the mount connecting side.

Any tips??

Sorry read that too fast before I responded bro.:chill:

You can use a oem bracket i just do not know which one. I dont think hasport makes the BRACKET they sell the mount kits. But i already have the hydro trans mount for the pass side i ordered innovative mounts.
Also i dont think B16A’s came in obd2 i may be mistaken. I know b16a2’s did i think. This is a 92 jdm b16a out of a xsi

It is a obd1 motor. I already ordered the jumper harness and vtec sub harness along with Hush Performance v2 DA full hydro conversion.

Iam using a obd1 ecu as my hondata is already installed and tuned seeing i had this whole setup in a del sol and is boosted and tuned.

I will take pix of both mounting brackets i have tomark to explain more of what im talking about.

And i have searched hence why im making a thread i cannot find the right answer. Your replying with hasport and rywire when that has nothing to do with my question. Im going to look now but im almkst positive hasport does not make the BRACK, NOT THE MOUNT. THE T BRACKET THAT GOES FROM TRANS TO SUB FRAME.

Try reading my question before you jump to a reply with search!!!

on my b18c swap just throwing out there i used one from a 94+ integra

Thank you turtle, I will look into that tomaro when i get off work.

You have to drill out one or both the T-Bracket holes (I dont remember if it the top, bottom, or both) if you want to use the DA bracket with a hydro case. It is per Hasport installation card when you get mounts, call them they should be able to tell you.

I want to say its because the DA mount uses a 14 or 17mm bolts and the 94+ B series uses a 17 or 19mm bolts. Sorry I cant remember of the top of my head for anything today :frowning:

Yeah i think its da uses 14 and hydro is 17 thanks man exact answer i was looking for. Thats what i was guna do but wasnt sure

People make it so difficult on themselves, you are going from a B series to another B series just reuse all your stock brackets and mounts. This includes the timing belt side bracket and motor mount.

Well first off im using a hydro trans so stock mount is out of the question for that, which like i stated i already have innovative mount fkr that. I knew i could use a oem rear bracket i just didnt know if i was going to have to drill the stock 90 bracket out or if there was one that did not require drilling thats all. I got it now im drilling the stock one out.

proper planing beats piss poor performance
