b17 stuttering when driving

I have a 90 integra converted to obd1 with chipped p28 ecu the problem I’m having is the car willstutter when driving occasionallyI I check oil pressure and fuel pressure and its great compression is clean across the board I run 87 octane gas and a new fuel filter and distributor spark plugs and wires …any help is appreciated thanx

Well for one, if it is a b17 you should be running 91 or higher I believe. B17s are the vtec engine an need the higher octane,

I used 93 gas like 3 weeks before today and the problem was still there it didn’t stutter as hard but seemed to go away almost completely when I dumped fuel system cleaner in it…gonna get some more and see if it works again…if so is it possible to have a injector sticking intermittently… When I replaced the fuel pump like a year ago the inside of the tank looked clean

Does sound like something in the fuel system, but I would stick with 91+ with the b17 as that’s what it requires to take at the least

OK gonna stick with that has anyone heard of the injector resistor box going bad

Unless your using obd0 injectors you don’t need a resistor box

question but how would you check the oil and fuel pressure?

For fuel pressure, on the right line of the fuel filter there is a service port, take the top little screw out with a rag ontop because there is pressure fuel will leak out, then screw a fuel pressure gauge in to it, turn your key to accessories (don’t start) a few times to build the pressure up again (10 times or so maybe) then I think, again I think you start the car and check the gauge, I believe it should be between 40-50 psi, again I think that the psi or should be between. For oil I have no idea lol

From the sounds of it you don’t have a repair manual. I don’t have a link but if you search free PDF 90-93 Integra service manual you should be able to download one. I got mine on my phone in PDF, I think its a Chilton and from what I’ve heard Chilton has better an more in depth wiring diagrams, would be a helpfull and very useful tool lol
