I have a 92 GSR with the original B17 and ive had some top end trouble. First the valves went out of adjustment so i adjusted them with the special tool (.006 on intake and .008 on exhaust). Also the LMA’s were in good condition just a bit gummy. Then it was making this noise that sounded like bad ball beirings from the distributor. I bought a brand new reman Honda one and the noise stayed same tone concistancy didnt change at all. My second guess was the girddles and cam caps were loose so i pulled them off put a small amout of engine assembly lube in there then tourqed them down to 7.5 lbs. I am completly stumped, i have no clue what the problem is and i even took it to Honda and the tech had no idea what it was also. I have had all of all my friends that have been building Hondas for years and they had no idea. Any help at all is appriciated.
Fuel injectors tick also.
what could be ticking on the fuel injection? I unplugged each injector one by one and it didn’t change.

ohh goddd…injectors are suppose to tickk when the pintle/valve opens and releases the fuel it opens n closes thats the ticking noise…noww maybe u did your valve adjustment wrong…id recheck that…
