I hate asking questions back to back but I have searched the net and other forums and can’t find anything on this.
I have a '90 GS I just got and I’m working on fixing it up some. I was told I could get the camshafts out of a '92+ and the lobes would be bigger.
I got curious and looked in my manual.
My '90
IN. 1.3160 EX. 1.5510
'92
IN. 1.3274 EX. 1.3083
I guess what I’m getting at is if I do switch out my cams wouldn’t be better to leave my exhaust cam since it’s bigger or is there a benefit to bigger in. and smaller ex.
Note: I’m doing it this way 'cause I have little money to spend on a good set of cams and I can easily get '92+ stock cams. I just don’t know if its worth it.
