Hey you guys. Im selling my engine and it has 114,xxx miles on it, and the transmission i believe, and i want to sell it but im not sure how much is a reasonable price for it. Im talking abut all of it at once ecu, harness, alt., dist., etc. if you guys can help me out with a reasonable price that would be great. i Just dont want to go to low and i dont want to sound like a dick when i say to high of a price you know.
around here you really can’t get much for them. a friend just gave a complete B18A block away just to get it out of the garage.
Maybe up to like $200-250 though since you have all the parts. But really the most reasonable price is whatever someone is willing to pay ask for best offer and see what you get…
Anywhere from $500 up to $1000+ is common on a full swap with manual transmission, wiring, axles, ecu, etc. It really depends on the condition, location, and buyer/seller. 92+ OBD1 swaps will probably fetch more than the 90-91 OBDO.
I agree with this. Post it up on CL to test waters.
dope thats the area i was thinking about just not sure. engine is clean. hopefully there is a home for it. i wont need it at all.
Just lest the miles and everything that will come with it and put down OBO and see what offers you get.
Your engine has low miles. You can get between 600-800. I probably wont take less than 500 for it, if it were mine. GLWS
yeah, just compare it with the jdm b18b on ebay. but you got more miles, I would say a complete b18a1 w/tranny, sell it for $500-700, it depends though, do you really need the money, do you have a backup engine or you planning to sell this so you could buy a new complete engine.
