b18b1 swap

Ok so last night I blew my engine b18a1, The only engine i can afford now is b18b1 I want to swap it in my integra. I want to know if I need anything extra.

The b18b1 has everything but tranny and ECU
Can I use my b18a1 ecu and tranny and mounts

We all know b18a1 is obd0 I am gonna have to convert it to obd1 I know that. But if you guys know or think I would need extra stuff for it LMK.

90-91 tegs are NON OBD. Since in your user name shows “93DA9” The 92-93 are OBD-1

umm i don’t remember fully what else i changed when i did a b18b swap, but for sure u can use ur old tranny. i believe that there’s one sensor connector that u won’t use, its not the tps but the one above it that. but i had a 91. so not sure on a 93. just go for it tho. good luck with the swap.

its a completely simple swap…like as if you swap out a b18a…if you keep the b18b intake manifold, make sure that you do all your vacuum lines right…if the b18b has map sensor on the throttle body you will eliminate that vacuum…just have to lengthen the wiring for the map sensor. as for the purge solenoid, the b18b should have one (instead of 2 like on the b18a) right on the intake manifold. don’t even disconnect any vacuum lines to avoid confusion. if there are no vacuum lines, connect the bottom one to the intake manifold on any of the closest vacuum nipples, and the top one to the charcoal canister. as for the fuel pressure regulator, just hook that up to any other vacuum line. i did this on my b20b swap using b18a intake manifold. I took the map sensor off the bracket and hid it. as for the purge solenoid I took one from a 95 civic and hid it as well. so I only have 2 vacuum lines, I am now rid of that ugly vacuum rail on top of the IM, and have about 5 less vacuum lines that before lol. as for the rest…it’s all plug and play. if the b18b is OBD2, use your distributor from the b18a to avoid cutting wiring to use the OBD1 connector.
