I just bought a JDM ITR bare block and I was wondering if my B16A parts would swap. Such as brackets sensors and so on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
If you mean you’re using the B16A head on the JDM ITR block then you’ll be fine. Anything really pertaining to sensors are located on the head (for the most part).
yeah, most brackets should mount in the same spots. A lot of people use B16 parts as cheap replacements for B18C’s, so i would think so.
Actually, you can only use brackets from a B16A or B18A. You can’t use an A/C bracket, crankpulley, or powersteering bracket from a B18C1/5… . wont work on a G2 properly.
how bare is this block and how much did you pay? if you didn’t get a windage tray along with the crank, rods, pistons then its worth about as much as a bare GSR block.
