is it possible for a b18c5 with tranny to fit in a g2. I don’t want to go with the b16, and I don’t want to do ls/vtec cause of how they aren’t exactly reliable, IMO. Would I have to do any modifications to get it to fit, or is it a direct bolt in? Is there anyone who has done this in here? I want to be the first. hehe. If not then i’ll be happy with second or third too.

try checking the teg tips…there’s a motor swap guide there.
and b18c5 is the itr engine no? if it is then yes there’s someone on the board with one in his car Dan (G2Guru) has the itr engine and gsr trans I believe??
You might have a problem using the itr trans as it’s a hydro trans where as our cars use a cable trans.
the type R engine long block (head and block) will fit your tranny, better to use JDM B16 tranny, (cable, short gears)…
the engine will fit your car…no problems
only problem you will have is the wiring of the ODB2…which can be easiy for some…(me)
and choosing a tranny…i would take the B16 tranny…
