B20 build up and swap

i need some good info on this swap.i have a 93 gsr with head work.
First off i was wondering can i build this up and just bolt it right in or will i have to make some modifacations to my ecu, header,…etc if it just bolts right up then why do people use 1.8’s and not the 2.0??? when i do build my bottom end(sometime around christmas or january) i want to build the most kick a$$ bottom end i can for around 3 grand or so. Please anyhelp would be appreciated…

People use both the 1.8 and the 2.0 to go with the LS/VTEC but you can also beef up the B17A block that you already have. Just go with the B16B pistons and replace the bearings and rods with the ITR ones this should make your bottom block pretty kick ass. you then can raise your rev limiter since you have a altered head already. Just don’t raise it too high you can chip the ECU or go with the easier mod that would be a Fields electronic vtec controller, this way you can controll when your vtec kicks in and how much gas your engine lets out at certain RPMs:thumbsup: :bow:
