is there any way that you can fix cam bearings on the head? i have a b20 head from a cr-v that was given to me…the intake cam is junk, and the second bearing in from the distributor side has some signs of wear… i.e. no oil! thats why it was given to me. can i just take some super fine wet sandpaper and clean it up. or is there nothing at all i can do? worst case i guess i can use it to practice port polishing with it.
it’s pretty much junk, i’m almost positive no one makes bearing inserts for the LS/B20 cam holders. i say use it for practice, and see if you can get access to a flow bench to test your work.
I agree. Not worth fixing. You can find ls heads pretty damn cheap these days. Have fun porting.
