b20 wont start

its cranking fine but just will not start… all connections are right and im sure its getting spark. i was having trouble with the old b18 not starting, so how do i figure out if the fuel pump is bad??? or any other ideas

pull a plug out and look for the smell of fuel or put the plug in the wire and lay it on the valve cover and look for a spark.

to check the pump. just lean back and listen for a hissing sound.

it goes on with the check engine light and goes off with the check engine light… but its doing the same exact thing that the old engine was doing… except its not starting at all instead of just taking 10 minutes like the old engine… i am using the b18 distributor, would the coil or igniter sometimes work and sometimes not work???

would the coil and ignitor from the b20 distributor work in the b18 even though they are different OBD and physically different??
