b20b knock sensor

well i have a b20b in car with my p14 ecu and the ecu is throwning cel code 23 which happens to be for the knock sensor. i looked and there in not one there and i have a green plug just hanging there.but i just need to know if i can drive a while without it in. so that i can go and try to get a new sensor.

also im running the p14 cause my pr4 took a crap the other night but i was wondering if there is anyway that i can fix the jumping idel.

I don’t have a b20, but if your ecu wants a knock you prolly need it and it’s gonna keep throwing a CEL. You might not even get vtec to kick in w/o it but I don’t no.
