i’m interested in swapping my nonvtec 1.8 out for a nonvtec b20. i don’t really know much about the swap or the output of the motor. is going b20 better than the other motors out there, power and price ratio-wise? i’ve tried searching the web for comments on b20’s but they’re pretty hard to find. could you guys please educate me on b20’s and how to swap them in with my stock 1.8 parts. thanks.
wasn’t the overall walls thicker to compensate for the bore. BUT where each cylidner met in the middle. it was 2MM thinner because, well. they didn’t want to reesign the block and space the cylidners the same amount the made the walls thicker?
if I used a B20 or b18b valve cover, it has a spot for the PCV valve on the cover, not on the intake mani like the b18a. So could I just hook the PCV valve up to the valve cover and run the hose to the cooresponding portion of the intake mani?
anyone get what I’m saying…eliminate the PCV from the lower intake mani and relocate it to the valve cover of the b18b/b20?

thats exactly it, the b20 or b18b dont have the little air box, so you have no choice. it’s not like it’s hard, you take the pcv valve from your b18a (cause the hose is longer) and you hook it up the VC instead of the IM…that simple.
