my b20z is not v tec but have mild cams not sure where to set cam gears also blown 2 distributers up in one year
The cam gears are the same for all B-series blocks, regardless of VTEC. Truthfully, you may not want to mess with the cam timing if you have not done it enough because you could risk bending a valve, breaking a piston, or messing up something else internally in your engine. And I do not think that the distributor problems you have been having were caused by the cams. Your distributor problems may be caused by being a cheaper distributor.
