Hey guys I was thinking of a good security device to install in my car. So far Got the camera outside, alarm, removable steering wheel but i just dont feel safe still. So I was in my sons room and saw the old baby monitor. So i thought about installing it under my seat or something so that way I can hear inside my car too. Those monitors are so sensative you can hear anything. So anyone ever did this or know how i can do it? I just need to figure a way to power the transmitter it only works while its pluged in. Can i run the wires to something in the car or make my own “power pack” with things from Radioshack?
No worth it imo.
Get a glass breakage sensor for your alarm instead.
sounds like a good idea

this is worth the money but with our cars they can just bend the glass and unlock the door. bending the window won’t make the window sensor go off.
Proximity sensor, spend the time to program it right.
Best security device ever?..
Having a car in crappy condition and keep it in a ridiculous mess inside. lol
I swear, in my 6 years of owning a teg only once has it ever been broken into…And thats cuz I left the pass side door unlocked by accident.
It was so messy in there that the only way I knew someone had ransacked my car was the rotten banana on my pass seat was smooshed from him sitting on it. lol
All the thief got for his trouble was an ass full of mushy bananna…
I realize non of this is helpful I just thought I would chime in
^ bananas ftw!

Haha funny you mentioned that. When I first moved to my apartment, I used the teg to load and unload my stuff. I parked the teg at the new apartment with tons of my shit in the trunk and on the back seats (boxes, pillows clothing, magazines) and underneath it all was my GPS system, and some of my sound system shit…
When the teg was broken into, he didn’t take a single thing from the mess, just an old dvd player that was in the glove box LOL…
not true. my red teg got broken into. it was probably the crappiest one on here. everything in my glovebox was taken
All he would have gotten in my glovebox was a tire pressure gauge, the service records for the car and maybe some old gum. lol
hope you didnt lose anythign to valuable Gil…
(P.S those belts are still sitting in my bedroom btw Gil, havent had a day off in 2 weeks but expecting one soon!..Will let you know how it goes at the wrecker…)
