Bad clutch cable?

So I have been having issues with engaging first gear on my GSR. Half the time it does not want to go in gear and clutch engagent is all the way at the bottom at maybe an inch from the floor. Ive tried adjusting it but the adjustment portion of the cable right near the transmission is screwed all the way down the sleeve. Sound like a stretched cable? If thats the case will an LS cable work on a GSR?

Ls and GSR have different brackets/mounting points, but they are interchangeable.

So will I need to swap just the cable ans retain the GSR brackets or swap it all over from the LS?

I don’t think any of the GSR brackets line up with the LS cable, but I could be mistaken.

You could always cross reference part numbers on www.acuraoemparts.com and confirm if the brackets are the same or not.

If they’re all different, either get the LS brackets as well or take the opportunity and “tuck” the cable under the intake manifold. People seem to like doing so as it cleans up the engine bay.
