When I park my car I normally am in 2nd gear when I pull in the driveway, which is on an incline by the way. When I come into the driveway I pop the clutch in, then slow down with the brake till I am suspended in my position. I then shift into 1st gear turn off the car, release the clutch then finally I let off the brake. When I let off the brake the car rolls a little, then a little more, then it finally stops and seems ok. A friend told me this could be from a bad clutch, what do you guys think? When it drives it feels fine to me, however I am not a pro at standard so I am unsure.
Any Help is apreciated
Thanks
Mine does the same, (only rolls like 4-6" at the most, I think)… and I’m pretty sure my clutch is fine as it was replaced only about 25,000 KM ago. I think this is something inherent with the mechanics of the clutch and engine braking. I’m not positive, but I think so.
