Since day one my batt light has been on
My batt seems fine, quick starts and hasnt failed me yet.
I have a canadian model, I dont know if it supposed to occur but whenever my car start my lights are on. Always, turning the light knob illuminates the cluster, thats it.
Could it be my grounds? Or could it be the fuses? Or something more EVIL!
CDN models have “DRLs”, [daytime running lights] high beams (90) high beams through resistance (91-93).
The should not come on until hand brake is released.
The batt. light is on because it is getting a ground from the alt., [white/blue] or the ICU, [integrated control unit] or the ABS control unit, or possibly a short to ground of the white/blue lead.
First thing I would look at is the ICU, [a common problem on G2s].
Let me ask you this…
Do your intermittent wipers work?
Does your rear window defog work?
Do the warning chimes work, [seat belt, lights still on, key still in ign.]?:hmm: 94
