Today my battery light came on. Everything felt normal. I was going about 30mph when i noticed it come on. It went off soon. Then later it went back on. I got out of my car and when i got back in and started my car, it was still on. I dove down the road awhile then it turned off…whats wrong? is my car possesed? Please tell me
Your alternator is probably dieing. If the light comes on at low RPMs, and goes off at higher RPMs its a dead give away that your alternator is about to kick the bucket.

nope, nothing like that…it comes on at whatever RPM it seems like it wasnt to come on at. I’m so confused. I need to get a multimeter i suppose.

One question…Are the brushes in the alternator replaceable or not???
And my battery light goes off when im past 3k RPM…

could be a loose battery connection too.
When the battery light comes on that means that the alternator is not charging propery.
The brushes are replacable and can be a bit difficult of you have never done it before. replace the srpings also and clean the comm of the alt too.

also check your alternator belt, see if it’s loose, mine did that too and it turned out to be a loose alternator belt
