Battery Light...

My car recently had a distributor problem, which caused the engine to not exceed 3000rpm… I bought another distributor, put it in, and the car runs good, took it on the street, drove it nice for awhile, punched it too see how the rpms were, then I hear “ding ding ding” something bouncing down the street… then my battery light comes on. I drove back, I couldnt see anything on the ground, and I opened the hood, and nothing appeared wrong within the engine bay, I’m not too sure what to check, but all the connections appear to be secure.

any suggestions on what to check?

Probably the alternator fan belt snapped.

…thanks  you were right lol
