Bbs ra rims

Hello, I just picked up a set of bbs ra rims 15x6 35et they were blacked out before but didn’t like the look on my car so I paint stripped them. Now my question is will I need spacers for these wheels? They are 4x100 but I hear a lot of people say I’m gonna need spacers. Also what kind of lug nuts do I need for these rims? Will my factory lugs work? The holes are pretty deep and was kind of wanting to buy some extended kind if possible . Thanks in advance for any help y’all can give me

why don’t you just put the wheel on for yourself and see if they fit since you have them in your possession? The offset seems pretty normal to stock offset so I don’t know why you would need spacers, but then again the only way to know if you need them or not is to actually put them on. In all honestly, there’s no way I can really help you based on the info you gave. You need to figure it out based on first hand experience, then you’ll actually know what you would need.

No I did test fit them and they fit but all the info I could find on them was saying I needed spacers. Why, I don’t know but that’s what info is out there. Just wanted to get it clarified by someone who has them on a Da9. Also would anyone know if they are ball seat lugs or acorn? That is the other thing I’m wanting to know. Since they are factory rims I figured ball seat like my Honda lugs. Just wanna be safe on that part

as for the spacers, you should be fine running without them since the offset of the rims are pretty high, and it’s essentially close to stock rim’s offset. The BBS RS wheels are pretty popular today among the volkswagen community and also the “hellaflush” scene, and many of those offsets are really low, like zero offset or into the negatives, thus requiring many to use spacers which is probably what you are finding when searching the web. Yet upon searching very briefly onto this topic, I found that some people were having issues with the wheel not sitting flush against the hub, specifically the center hole of the rim being too small to allow the rim to sit flush against the hub. Some remedy this problem by boring the center of the rim out or using a spacer to accommodate it. So because of this, I suggest you to make sure that the rim itself sits flush against the hub. If it sits flush, then you’re set, if not then you need spacers or bore out the center of the rim according to a honda-tech thread here:

as for the style of the lug nuts, I am not sure. I googled it and found some results and here they are. I would like to note that I cannot confirm with any of these responses but I hope it guides you in the right direction:

Next time search alittle further and you’ll find the answers you want; it literally took me two minutes to find the answer you wanted!

whoops I just realized that you have the BBS RA rims not the BBS RS rims lol. When searching on google it brings up alot of info on the RS wheels rather than the RA wheels which may cause some confusion as it did for me. Regardless, what i said still applies.

yeah all i find are the RS style rims which are probably more popular in the honda scene for the offset, but when i did test fit the wheel it fit fine maybe a lil tight on the lug holes but fit.
Now for the hub ill have to re fit them and check to see if there is any loose-ness on the wheel cause once i put it on i didnt wiggle it or do much to see if it was on flush or not. But thanks for your help anyway. I know the RS rims should still use the same lugs as a RA as in seeing there both BBS rims. So i’ll keep searching the web unless there is someone on here who has personally used them on their DA that would know 100%.
