Been a member since 07... So I thought I'd post pics of my current DA9...

To make this lonh story short…This is my 5th integ and my current one …and my current DD…since my son will be driving within the next 3 mos…and me being at 38yrs old… I just might just have to let this car go and give it to my son. I dont have pics of my first 3 integs, but i have pics of the last two …

This was back in 2007-2008 when i bought this 90 DB1 for $600.00… the seller didnt wanna put any more $$$ into it, they installed a new batt and new alternator & still didnt start, Paid $20.00 for the negavtive batt that bolts to the frame had became corroded and cut…started at first try… paint was oxidized, so I prepped it for paint to save $$$, painted at MAACO for whopping $375.00…had special for the presidential (1/2 off hahah) So few weeks before, I went to the yard and saw a 92-93 bumper with the OEm lip still installed, called the yard and they still had it, since ive known the owner of the HOnda yard for yrs…he hooked it up for $75 including the lip and mounting brackets…

I had some ROTA gt 3 layin at home so I slapped these on as well as some Ebay coilovers…

After couple months…I traded the gt3s for fat 5’s, installed DC side skirts, JDM 1 pieces, thin side moldings, OEM rear trunk wing, & exhaust

After bout a year of owning it…I purchased a set of Ol school gales for cheap since 4 caps/rings were missing… LS636 15x8s…

Sorry for the crappy cell pic

A year later I parted the car out and sold it to buy a 93 DA9… (DUmb mistake)literally sold the DB and bought this 3 hrs later … and still had extra $$$

A week later…swapped the suspension, put the Gales on and the 1 pieces…

3mos later I sold the gales due to rings/caps are impossible to find so I slapped back the fat 5’s

and came across these from my boy REXONE…

16 black racing phantoms

and so this how the DA currently sits… bought a set of EK side skirts, just havent had the time to install them. I think once I hand the car over to my son,ill slap back the fat 5s on for now… dont want these rims getting curbed checked… haha

Thanks for looking…feel free to comment…

Dang! That DB1 was extremely clean! I miss my 4 door so much.

Like how it looks now, rims are clean!

:ok:

Damnn that db1 was so clean! Should have kept it

Nice seeing another older head on here still messing with these cars.

x2 it’s also nice to see it getting handed down to the next generation.

Thanks for the compliments fellas… yeah I’m.old haha not gonna lie… but feels better that my son will enjoy it just as much I did…

Love your db! And now ur da is perfect for your son to put his on touches on…i hope my car are still around when my son drives…haha

that DB was fire. what mudguards did you use? and those skirts dont look like DC, the ones on that db have a flare, DC skirts dont

@Integra_hot, your right…my bad these side skirts came off a 94-95 Honda accord sedan. The mud flaps are OEM, just used a dremel and carefully trimmed to have a tight snug fit…

ok it was still nice love it man, looked great

Nice going and love your loyalty to the 2nd gen family! Funny, was beginning to think I was the only one of age that was active around these parts. BTW, we are the same age, did you happen to graduate high school in Daygo? I went to school at Kearny, Morris, Henry and ended upgraduating at Serra.

Haha wow small ass world… My bro went to Serra… I went to Uni… down the street from kearny and Henry… c/o 93…

Cars look good and nice to hear about getting your son into a G2. I’m also on the older side,35 and I still have a G2 I’m tinkering with. Didn’t go to school in SD but I have skated at Serra back in the day. Great skate spot.
