I love my P.I.C coilovers
is anybody running racelands? and if so for what chassis?
dont run raceland… I warn my friend after he bought them " he was trying to keep me out of the loop because im very picky about buying quality parts"- that you get what you paid for. They were 400 shipped. After inspecting them i told him to return it because the welds were crappy. But he decided to keep them and after install took it for a drive… Not even 1 mile on the hwy until the rear blew. Dont purchase Raceland!!!
the cheapest (price wise) coilovers i would ever buy are fuction and form type 1’s…honda-tech has them for like $565 and they ride good, nice and firm
then i would look at progress, those are also nice for around the same price maybe a little bit more…but trust me, get the function and form type 1’s
I currently installed the CX Racing coilovers. I love that you have the option to stiffen up the ride or even have it soft makeing it feel like a normal car. There not bad for the price I got them for.
had the yonaka for the past year, loved them but were too low for my taste on highest setting, even set some fast lap times on them as well…
changed to skunk2 pro s2 a week ago, and regret not spending the coin up front, i love these coilovers!

sk2 pro s 2 ftw.
I know I’m late but regardless…
I have the GC top hats, GC coilovers with koni yellows on the DA and now on the DB, I’ve had these since '03. So far the best suspension setup I’ve had especially when you replace your worn factory bushings with new or in my case Energy Suspension bushings.
The height adjustability is great although the coils wont allow you to be super slammed due to the perch. Dampening can be set to stiff for race or soft like a caddy, daily driven I have it soft like a caddy but at the drag races its set to stiff in the rear mild in the front.
Anyone who’s riden with me can attest to there comfort and handling.
Words of wisdom… never skimp on one of the most valuable parts of the car, the suspension.
been on the skunk2 pro s2 for a bit over 2 months now, road coursing, auto x, and dailying, love them
I am ordering F/F Two.5s in June with specific spring rates. Consider those as an option as well. Ride height, dampening, and specific springs rates all in one package.
I am thinking of getting the dc2 KW varient 2s. I get 1k off with my employee discount
Too bad they can only drop 1-3"
I will vouch for Tein any day. They make very reliable, full body coilovers! I have had Tein basic’s on my car since 2007. They have the perfect ride height when adjusted the whole way down. They have not rusted anywhere and I can still move the collars. Best of all… they are still is stiff as the day I got them and still going strong. Very well made. Whenever these do decide to go out; I have a brand new set of PIC coilovers with a custom spring rate waiting on me
i still stand by my skunk2 pro s2 coilovers!
I’ve been considering some ISCs, just put a set on a Sti and they seemed nice.

I ran EG racelands for over a year no problem. That includes daily driving, and weekend canyon runs. While they arent the best performing coilovers, if your just wanting to go low, id recommend them for a budget build. In fact i still have a buddy thats runs them on a wrx with no issues. Since then i have upgraded to GC/Koni with 400lbs on all four and i am thoroughly satisfied with them, but if i was strapped for cash and didnt have the money for GC/Konis, id go back to racelands.
