best full coilover kit out there?

So i been researching alot and see alot of different opinions. For best handling and ride quality what full coilover kit would you go with? I was talking to the blackworks guys about their new ones but better get other ideas and opnions first. Thanks!

Progress CS-2 on Honda tech $595 shipped. Read the thread it has great reviews.

I have some ksport that i love. I like to keep it low when im driving on the daily then go lower on my weekend cruise.

I have Skunk2 coilovers on my GSR and F/F Type 1s on my LS. I prefer the ones on the LS only because they have a custom spring rate. I want either D2 coilovers or F/F Type 2s.

AMR Engineering would be the way to go! I’m definitely getting a set when I’m done with my Koni/GCs

i got the skunk2 pro s i believe (non dampening) they are exactly what i wanted…i can lower and the ride is like stock

I got F&F 2 on my ls.

I’ve heard great things about Koni/Ground Control set up’s from road racers to daily driver cars. I have them on my car haven’t ran them yet. but expecting good things.

ohlins or moton, and of course koni/GC combo, tein. i would think these are better choice than FF,D2,megan,blackworks,etc.

is anybody running racelands? and if so for what chassis?

you mind telling us what driving you plan to do with the car or any future plans.
road race or daily.
your not asking the right questions and your going to end up getting a decent setup that may not be for you and your going to hate it and give bad feed back foe other people looking to get a coilover set up.

I daily my car track it sometimes, over all it handles really well on sk2 type s2 coilovers.
fully adjustable spring rate and ride height. its fairly smooth on the road and highway and firm on hard corners and turns. everyone that driven in my car always ask what suspension I have and say they like it better than theyre own setup.

for daily driving and minor canyons, function and form type 1’s are the best bang for the buck…also the progress ones are nice also

Everyone’s got some good ideas. What about Megan coilovers? Amr is expensive but hopefully worth it for daily driving with bumpy roads here in south Dakota lol

megan anything blows. amr is expensive but you get what you pay for. i loved my d2s back on my old DA.

yeah stay away from megan, currently i have their coilovers (just the springs) on my da and it bounces around like a snoop dogg video :stuck_out_tongue:

Wow ya not getting them then. I may have my mind set on k sport. Went for a ride in a friends and its smooth! Amr is spendy but I’m sure the ride quality is worth it. Got 2 integras so maybe buy a set down the road

this thread is worthless.

I was thinking of getting the Skunk 2 Pro S II’s for my DA after doing a lot of research. The Progress CS-2’s seem comparable in price and quality but the spring rates seem kinda low. I do not daily my DA but I tend to do long trips when I do make use of it. I’m looking for something for road racing and auto crossing. Sounds like you like them a lot. Any more insight? I have been running KYB AGX, GC & Top hats for a few years now. It was perfect when I drove the car on more of a daily basis but now that I’m serious about strictly performance the spring rates just aren’t stiff enough for me anymore.

I currently have the skunk 2 pro s 2 coilovers and i love em the spring rates are good 8k front and rear not bouncy at all

Why did anybody not suggested the Koni/GC setup yet?? Seems like a pretty popular, reliable and good set-up.

IMO these brand like KSport, Megan, and such are all the same thing but with different color.

Personally, I have Zeal Function BASIC, love them.
