Best way to mourn a loved one, and show how distraught you are at their loss?

Martin took responsibility for his action. Unfortunately, he took responsibility in the form of a bullet.

the missing frames of The Zapruder film.

Even the “suit” photo circulating has him as the proprietor of hair on his head–albeit short, i’ll give you that, but nowhere near bald.

So if you shoot someone in self-defense, you should be prosecuted for manslaughter because of your natural instinct of self-preservation?

EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized you’re from San Francisco. No wonder.

I’m not from San Francisco, I’m from the bay Area… Why does that matter anyways.

Shooting an unarmed man is hardly self defense. All i’m saying is look at the size zimmerman, you really expect me to believe that a skinny 17 year old was strong enough to make this guy think he was going to die…

edit: If it is such a clear cut case of self defense, then tell me why police investigators recommended charging him with manslaughter. Obviously they found something in there investigation that made them believe that it wasn’t self defense, and they have access to much more information than we do. All we have is the twisted media information.

in the video of when he is arrested he looks bald

If that’s all you can comprehend from my comment, then your best bet is to not comment at all. Please grammer nazi forgive me for my grammatical sins. I can’t take someone serious that seems to idolize “The Dude” who’s based off a low life pot head with no job. I think I just pissed on your rug Mr. Lebowski.

  1. Grammar, not grammer.

  2. He’s accomplished more in the last 5 years than you probably will your entire life. Kthxbye.

HOLY SHIT, GO FUCKING FIGURE!!!

NBC edited the 911 call to make Zimmerman sound like a racist.

That photo isn’t recent. That was the last time he was in custody for whatever reason. He was never “booked” so they dont have a photo of him from that night.

He’s bald and “better built” i.e. less fat , according to a report as well as the surveillance video from the station. He has a little shade of hair in the video, but i think at that point we’re splitting hairs, pun intended.

Was referring to the ferret’s analogy to police.

In either case, he was not permitted to perform or attempt a citizen’s arrest. He had no reason to believe TM had committed a crime. Simply looking “suspicious” is not a crime. He had already did his duty as a citizen to report, as well as guide actual LEOs who were en route to the area. But he had to pursue on foot by himself in his mind, a suspicious character. 911 told him not to pursue for his own safety (as well as not to try to be a hero) in case TM was actually a criminal (so the discussion about getting killed for listening to 911 doesnt pertain to this. In the case of TM/and Zim, the person calling 911 was not the victim). Even if Zimmerman told 911 he had a gun to protect himself, i still doubt 911 would encourage pursuit.

Why do you keep saying self defense? If he had stayed in his vehicle and waited for the LEO’s as he was instructed,
and was attacked by TM, I would agree. Instead, he stalked the kid (who once again was doing nothing wrong) and it resulted in a death. As much as I would like think justice will be served, Zimmerman’s life is over for all intents and purposes either way.

Probably something to do with the whole part about being pinned down while his assailant slammed his head into the concrete, and having no choice but to draw and use his weapon to defend himself. That’s called “self defense”. And that’s what I mean by “self defense”.

If you guys are comparing photos of both people, use current ones.

Like I said before, media is playing the public against Zimmerman.

really thought this was going to go over bigger lol CMON work with me people! lol

An interesting comment on “duty-to-retreat” as stated in the Model Penal Code.

Where’s the racial outcry over this one?

^ interesting read.

Somebody needs to just start standing next to Sharpton from time to time with a sign that says “Towanna Brawley”.

Ferret, the link you posted doesn’t talk about the name you just mentioned.

interesting article, ferret.

It has shown in precedence that they dismissed charges, but precedence may not apply to every case. Sheer public pressure may change this outcome, and a previous case where the charges were dismissed has been appealed.

Stand Your Ground is a flawed concept from a legal standpoint, but we’ll see what the state finds. I think they’re due to convene on the 10th.

The article I posted explains why those courts decided the way they did in the article ferret posted. Well, kind of.
