Bought a set of Full Race traction bars from him, keeps emailing me back that hes going to “get around” to taking them off his car, weeks go by of this same excuse still no bars. After a month of wasting my time he offered a refund, I replied that I have sold my old crossmember and need the traction bars, and that I would be patient and give him some time. He said he would ship them out. Never happened. Either hes too lazy or does not own them. I am out of patience. I have started a dispute with paypal and am awaiting a refund. Don’t waste your time doing business with this guy he does not follow through with the transaction.

Update: 4/14/12 Since I was stupid and patient with this guy originally, PayPal said there was nothing they could do to get my money back since it was more than 45 days since the transaction. So I’ve lost communication with this guy he no longer is responding to my emails.

If you need an old crossmember to get you by i have one and im fairly local, back on topic though that really sucks. Hopefully everything will work out for you man.

we have to get the feedback again so we dont run into stuff like this sorry for you loss dude if you was in jersey i have a stock one you can have but like you said you did with paypal you good then takes days but you get your funds back

LOSS. Its LOSS. LOSS. Sorry for your LOSS. I am at a LOSS for words.

haha funny guy did a type o and thanks for writing it in big letters ok junkman ill will fix for you cause you are a mr. encyclopedia

hahaha, encyclopedia?

-back on topic, well it seems like the sellers that take forever to ship or take a longer than average time to respond are the ones most likely to scam you, I don’t care how “busy” they may be, if you are going to sell something and take someone else’s money, you better not mess around.

Wrong book. Nice try though.

I blame the quality of New Jersey’s public schools. Many of them are shit and have funding issues ( 1) top heavy with high salary low output administration 2) maintaining abandoned / underutilized buildings 3) over spending on equipment). The millions facebook’s CEO donated to the Newark Public school system could have been spent better elsewhere (building toxic waste dumps, researching pink slime , opening a retirement home for aging porn stars)

Back on topic.

Sellers like this help to further a climate of distrust between sellers and buyers. I’ve just about given up on selling everywhere due to buyers asking when the item was shipped 5 minutes after paying. (Thats obviously not what happened in this case) Its too easy to get scammed (on either end) on websites that offer commerce forums.Paying with paypal or postal money order offers some protection however.

I have his phone number off of paypal and am contemplating harrassing him constantly with a barrage of phone calls and text messages demanding my refund. I have no other options.

Thanks for all of the offers on the crossmembers guys, i found one at the junkyard and will roll with that for the time being.

File a police report in his town or see if you can take him to small claims court?

I will look into that. can you file over the phone or internet?

the issue is this guy is in FL

Put up his info on here. Also make a thread calling him out on Honda Tech, in the regional forums.

Thanks for the advice, i started a thread on H-T in the FL section. updated this thread with his info

A full name would be nice. He’ll just come back as a new user.

Updated Thanks

http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=732864576 ??? is this him

Yup thats him

Wow you know where he works, where he lives, what house hes in, and what car he’ll be driving.

File a police report as thejunkman stated. You have everything you need.

Any updates? I like seeing the wronged win. I almost lost out 150 on ebay on time from a guy selling a BNIB Viper alarm system, went through ropes for weeks awaiting arrival and emails. He quit emailing me and as soon as I filed a dispute on paypal and ebay, well wouldn’t you know, email with tracking number and arrived in two days.

Assholes.

Unfortunately not. This guy is just a total prick.

Kinda sucks that would cost him more than he paid for the bars in the first place to file a claim. Fuck shady people man.
