bigger wheels

I am wondering if by me putting 17’s on myteg from the steelie 14’s will me quarter mile Et time worse.

From a traction standpoint, yes (unless you’re running V-rated 14’s). When I used to quarter mile my old teg, I found that it did it’s better on 195/60 14-inch T-rated tires than it did on 205/50 15-inch V-rated tires. I would guess that this would be due to the sidewall flexability (called wrinkle on slicks), but I can’t be sure. I’ll probably get flamed for even stabbing at a thought this strange, but oh well…

thanx

it will be slower. The 17’s are heavier and take more power to get going. I noticed a difference when I put my 17’s on.
