Gauging interest. Started drawing it up in mastercam on Saturday. They will be billet aluminum and I will offer custom engraving. Never seen an A1 cover ever… Need to figure out a price that’s fair to both parties.

I’d say 30-40 bucks would be about the right pricerange on a guess based on the prices for the VTEC ones I have seen that are simply listed as billet… OFC if you look at Skunk2 or BWR ones they jump to 70-125 bucks… then the CF ones seem to be 99.99
sounds like you could make a killing with these seeing as there is nothing for us LS block lovers… I mean you would have a product that isn’t readily available.

Haha fair enough. Talk is cheap right?? I know I saw cheesy “billet” vtec ones on eBay for 80 and skunk2 for 120. I don’t think I’ll ask that much. But they are totally exclusive. Still will have to account for shipping and packing supplies also. Still deciding on if I want to do a limited run or not. No eta yet but the process is started. If you have looked at your VC recently you will see how high the plug wires sit compared to the other types of VCs. So I gotta try to make it all work without looking too bulky.

What would a cover attach to on this block? I do not see a big issue making a metal or carbon fiber piece if enough people want one, but there does not seem to be a good place to mount it.

Mounting is not the issue. The issue is making it clear the plug wires without looking too bulky.

I’ve seen all kinds of cool looking things made for other cars, the issue is often fitting them to what is already there… it would be great to see one made for this engine…
