Hi, I’ve been looking for a clean black DA but all the ones I come across have tan interiors. I was wondering, do all black DA’s have the black and tan interior? Thanks
No. Although they are far and few between, there are some black integra’s out there with black/ charcoal interior, although the majority have the tan interior. I have a 91 ls that came with black/ charcoal interior but my buddy that I bought it from put a 92 gsr interior in it. I have owned 2 black/black integras, a 91rs and a 92gs.
Not necessarily rare, just harder to find…well at least here in Georgia. It may be something regional. Most black DA’s I have found in GA are black/tan, although I have seen some black/ black.
I’ve had 2 black/black DAs. I’m in the Toronta area Canada.
I’ve got a 91 LS that was black with tan interior (switched to black interior). I’ve never seen a black/black around here (east Tennessee).
Perhaps the US market got black/tan combo, whereas in Canada we got black/black, as I don’t see too many tan interiors here in Canada.
I could imagine it being a geographic thing since the southern US would likely prefer a light interior in the heat. Just like US likes pin-stripes and OEM rubber strips on all edges more than Canada.
