Blackworks SS-Series

Has anyone used the Blackworks SS-Series Coilovers. I found a good deal on a set, but want to know if they are worth it!

They have
SPRING RATES: Front 10KG (560lbs) Rear 6KG (336lbs)
6061 ALUMINUM UPPER MOUNTS

Made in China

I can get a set four less than $300 shipped to my door from a respected dealer. Has any one used them?

99% of shit nowadays are made in China… that doesn’t mean anything.

3-year warranty

skunk2 isnt…

How good do you think they could be for that price? Buy them and if you don’t like them I’m sure you could easily pass them off to some ricers for what you paid or maybe even more lol

i love Tein personally

Yeah and yet their coilover setup still sucks. They ride as bumpy as the ebay ones…

For that price, get it!!

You must of not specified the spring rate you wanted. There’s way more to suspension tunning.

for that price it is good, however, like the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Let us know how they are.

Blackworks SS-Series are in. The construction looks to be good. The upper mount is fairly thick alum. Everything bolted in easy, but the brake hose mounts a little different. They are not too bad, almost ride like a 4wd, but I can live with them for now. They are stiff.

no dampening adjustments?

That’s very true, people buy skunk2s or other coilovers not realizing that they could change there spring rates. That’s the biggest mistake buying online. Always best to order by a certified dealer, unless website lets you choose your spring rates.

skunk 2 sucks fat dick

so im guessing you tried all there products to say that? lol

if knock offs work for you then great. What ever fits your bidget…

Lol, I will agree with you their suspension sucks. Had 4 setups from them over the years and even had coilovers from them when they use to be skunkworks.

Remember, you get what you pay for. 3 bills will get you Made in China or really poor coils or even shocks. Stick with JDM or USDM made, spending a little more will keep your ride on the road instead of the garage replacing sh!t.
