I don’t know how I may have missed this thread. Very nice work.
I’m currently in the process of upgrading my suspension and your thread gives me motivation, inspiration, and most importantly great ideas. Keep up the great work man as you are silently helping other members like me! My Full-Race traction bar gets here on Thursday!
Good luck man :hi5:
So last night the ASR subframe brace went on.
everything went great until I tried to bolt back up the ST sway bar and thats where the problem arrised. both the bar and the brace want to occupy the same space. :bang: you would think ASR might have taken into account that some people might actually have an aftermarket swaybar already installed on there car durring the developement of this subframe brace, but I guess not.
even with the stock bar up. clearence is very tight, so much that im afraid under hard cornering that might be contact between the two.
So now im undecided on what to do. had I know this in the first place I would of just ordered the kit with the ITR bar, but now Im just going to have to source one some where else.:tsk:
Also got this yesterday.
Thanks Kev
So I decided to to put the ST bar back on and pull the ASR bar off until I decide to upgrade to a bigger bar for the rear. so I did that the other day. I also recieved my ball joints on friday and of course they are the wrong ones so I got a hold of the guys at weksos on sat and they are supposed to look into it this morning, so now im back in the waiting game.
To fill some time till then I started mounting this thing for those days I attend meets and fell like being a little flashy:)
Glad I ordered my ASR kit with the sway bar then Sorry to hear about your issues though. If this makes up for it, I have to wait a month for mine to come in.
Like the JDP lip too, I want to order one but shipping to Canada is insane.
thanks man, you live and you learn, sometimes not in that order. the lip is coming out great and I gotta thank Mrpenny for his help with it, fitment is a litttle tight and his help has made the job alot easier.
I cant wait to rebuild my front suspension also looking forward to getting an asr rear brace looking good:rockon:

you guys will love them. they are superb in quality but as stated already, make sure you order the sway bar with it;)
Theres no work getting done tonight fellas, Im head to boulder with MRpenny to see Collie buddz at the fox theater:rockon:
That’s one big ass fish.
I plan on redoing my front suspension just like yours, now I have some motivation. Except I have the black bushings.
Does your spare tire and cover fit with the battery mounted like that?
Yea, it’s similar in pricing IIRC. I might just ship it to a friend’s place in Buffalo, drive down, put it on and drive home.
BLKACK1, add me to AOL if you use it. Same as my user name here but no spaces. Want to talk with you about your tuck.

Update
Looky here, looky here. No more zip ties holding up the bumper.
ever since I had the rad support fixed. I have been extreamly worried that due to the fact that I gave and picked up the car completely striped, that once I did get an actual support that it was going to be ever so slightly tweeked. To my delight, it fit perfectly:up:
how beautiful is that.
Brian @ weksos also said that I should be recieving my replacemnt ball joints in the next couple of day. Its a good thing cause Im realy itching to get her on the road again:D
Man… those floors are so nice, we can’t anything close to that over here Keep it up
Your build is soooo sick! It must feel good to know you’re getting close to getting her on the road. Keep it up, I love the updates!
