thank you sir, It has grown alot on me over the last couple years. even contemplated keeping it this color when it comes time for paint. who knows, too soon to be thinking about that right now
I would keep the same color, i like that color almost as much as i like blade silver lol. The mugen rep sides i had came painted the same color as your teg glynn. My phone hasnāt rung yet lol
LOL thats cause all you would hear is the buzzing of my barbers clippers hahaha
you could just sell me those skirts if thats the case
He already painted them, lol.
Glynn keep it greenā¦there arent too many of us around lolā¦if you want reassurance just look at my recent pics LOL
HAHA, story on my life. day late and a dollar shortā¦
I did actualy, and it makes a valid argument to keep it green!! lol
:::Updates:::
Started the week off by getting the oil feed taken of. The kit I bought includes one of those fittings that fits the special thread pitch that the oem oil pressure sensor uses however, I already have one of those in at the moment so I decided to make my job a little easier. Im going to use the sandwich plate from my LS-V motor this give me an extra 1/8 npt bung with is currently pluged by another temp sending uint. unfortunately after looking at the gasket on this, I decided it was best to order a new one as well as 1/8 npt adapter to replace the 6an one currently in it. on with the picsā¦
Got the Push lock installed into the WG, heres hoping it doesnt melt:fingcross:
Started playing around with ideas for mounting the boost silinoid. I like this, but might need a little reworking.
something to soak up some of the vibration
Need some proper hardware to finish it up
Today I managed to get the lower brackets riveted where I want them, removed the old aluminum mounting tabs from the intercooler and started fab work on new ones.
Right were I want it:rockon:
Good stuff man. Car is looking great good to see you getting to play with all you8r turbo toys. Must be a great feeling!

Im getting that much closerā¦
got my sandwich plate fitting and seal in last week and got the oil line all finished up.
In order to save a little time. ive decided to scrap the custom entanks for the moment and just pick up a couple elbows to convert the intercooler to a back door setup.
got marks made on the oil pan to prep it for the oil baffle and return line.
got some more goodies in.
some 70A Hasports
some 4" pipe, 4" coupler and a K&N air filter for the intake.
relocation of the coolant reservoir and windshield wiper fluid fill tube are a must. this filter is huge!! LOL
Oh nice! SOme one boosting really soon!
Sexy stuff going on in here! Keep it up man!
Hasport mounts!!! Single greatest upgrade you can do to our cars!
Thanks guys its been a long week but ive got lots of updatesā¦
Mac valve is all wired and loomed up.
Fixed the large hurdle of the drain port in the block that was striped out. after hours of sitting there hand cleaning what threads were left with a metal pick set and using another plug that wasnt striped. I managed to clean up what threads where left. the addaptor screwed in with out incident. still trying to decide weather or not to weld it in anyways. at this point because of time constraints, I think ill wait to see if it leaks first.
Installed the drain fitting on the turbo.
for my own personal entertainment
Inter cooler is officially mounted to the car
Oil pan baffle is welded in. (I opted to wait on the drain fitting for the time being until the manifold is done)
got both bungs welded to valve cover
Got my earls hose in yesterday so Started getting breather lines ready. just left the 3 lines long so I can cut them down accordingly once the breather box is built.
Lots of nice updates glynn, makes me want to work on the teg. My motivation has been goig to shit lately
im sure we all get that sometimes man. just gotta make yourself get the lead out
nice stuff! this motivates me. i just received my honda order of gaskets and o-rings so if the weather stays nice i should be starting work this weekend.
Excellent job on fixing the coolant drain on the block, and with everything else. Whats really bugging me is the hasport mounts you got the one that bolts on the drivers side (t-belt) looks like it has only one hole for one bolt to the engine mount bracket. Now if the car was a daily normal driving then that should hold, but for a fast n/a or boosted application that hole bracket and mount can very well snap off on a hard launch. Now I was going to order that same mount from hasport but see-ing this kind-of alarms me so Iām wondering why would they take such a short cut on a da 90-93 mount when on all the other cars they make several different kits for the same car. In the past few years hasports reputation hasnāt been as popular as in the past because of issues like this and the da cable to hydro conversion as well has had itās share of complaints but they havenāt done anything to revise or up-date them. I donāt know if this should be addressed to them or not cause I personally havenāt used their new da mount sets (except for the rear one) so I wouldnāt know for sure if it could cause a problem or not, all I know is that one bolt holding the hole drivers side of the engine would have me worried if I was driving with that on my car.
There are two bolts⦠one from the top-side, the other from the bottom. I know, I have a set on my DA.
The motor is VERY secure and doesnāt move in the slightest.
I canāt speak for their hydro/cable kits⦠but their engine mounts are definitely quality parts.
