what can I say about that post. I know, How about I just spit captain & coke all over my computer from laughing so hard:up:

those are old news man, but apperently you didnt get that memo:giggle:

Well just when I thought she would go up for the winter time in great running condition, I decided to drive her to work one more time last sunday and out of the blue on my way . I notice there is a second or so delay in the throttle from when I press my foot down on the pedal to when the car actually accelerates. and this happens with every change of gear all the way to the job:wtf: :bang: isnt that how it goes just when thing are going great, bam, right back at square one.

with the help of mrpenny, we diagnosed the TPS to be out of spec.

.226closed thr/4.06 full thr

now I now when the motor was installed that the TPS was set withing spec.
.48 closed thr/4.46 full thr.

being omni power is known for its solid products, im going to chalk this one up to operator/installer error caughMEcaugh and the fact that I didnā€™t (and should have) used loctite in order to ensure there would be no movement in the sensors position. Now that I know what the problem is I just need to find time to fix it and make sure that resovles the issure:)

i must say man man i envy you i just turned 21 and am getting ready to move out into an apartment but there is nothing i want more in this world then to have a bad ass garage and a project car like that man your car is a beauty and you have not only inspired me but also gave me great ideas ( like the thread cleaning) i cant wait i just put my first engine in my 92 gsr she is my daily driverand once i move out im gonna look for a project car. and hopefully ill be banking enough cash to support my lavish auto spending

Thanks for the kind words. Just remember, Good things in life come to those that work hard for them;)

sir you are preaching to the choir the hospitality industry is pretty rough. Especially when your climbing the corporate ladder rather then going to school twice as hard. im makin it up quite quickly though. good luck with the build keep us updated

whats up people, its been quite some time since ive updated this thread. I havent done much beside reset my tps sensor which did fix my problem.

I however did get this the other day.

I should be getting the front suspension parts ordered that are need to finish up the front within the next couple of months and hopefully she will be able to see a little track time in the spring while I build up the LS-V:rockon:

Is that the ASR brace thatā€™s going on in the GB right now?

Tis sir. Itā€™s looking funky fresh too! Canā€™t wait to get my two tomorrow!
Gylnn: When are we gonna get your g-ride on stands yo?

That mean your building another car mrpenny?

Definitely! I have a DA shell that I need to start finishing up, and then Iā€™ll be picking another four door within the week, hopefully, so Iā€™m not done yet!

Is there a link to your wire tuck thread?

as mrpenny said, yes it is the SFB that is now being sold by weeksos. A very nice piece if you ask me. Of course im not that picky in the first place;)

I just talk to roby tonight and gave him a little proding about that 4 door for you. as far as jack stands go, maybe after I actually get some more parts together first;) beside between you and everyone else having work to be done, mine is not such a priority right now

Hopefully I can get mr penny in this four door this week, Fares is giving me a hard time with this DMV CRAP!!! that and the fact that hes being lazy But hopefully I can get everything settled sometime this week :)and get penny in another 4 door ā€¦sorry about the wait friend :frowning:

Lets see those seats installed and cleaned up!

well its been some time since ive been around, so I figgured I would post up what little work Ive done to the teg in the last couple of months.

As you can already tell thanks to mr Robi up there, I got a smoking deal on a set of clean(not litteraly:giggle:) LS-SE 2 tone seats. with a lot of cleaning and a little restiching on one of the headrest and these are gonna look nice:rockon:

I also made up some studs to put in place of the bolts that hold the battery down, since they can be sort of a hassle to get started without doing it a certain way.

Stoped by the local home depot and picked up some 3 inch 5/16 pitch studs, nylon lock nuts and some regular nuts, and a pair of lock and regular washer.

Pics of the progress. dont mind my temperary battery terminal;)

beside for insulating and resealing my garage door, thats about all ive done in the garage this winter, but tips have been good so expect me to be ordering parts and finishing up the front suspension sometime soon here.

Update:
Within the last couple of weeks I have been aquiring more parts to finish up the suspension and I just spoke with MRPENNY and hes headed over right now to hang out and give me a hand on getting the car up on jack stands to put on some these Tasty parts:P Ive also talk to a local powder coater about getting my old set of stearing knuckles, rear crossmember and front lower control arms done in preperation to make the whole swap a lot easier.

I also picked these up from vulcan tires online for a realy good price:rockon:

I was only a traction bar and helmet away from from entering the open track day at high planes raceway, untill I ran into a couple of problem with the local law enforment, there-for instead of being a hard racer. Im going to settle with being a hard parker for a little while till I get this stuff taken care of:argh:

Stay tuned, all of this including my asr subframe brace will be going on the car in prep for the next race day that comes up.

well I figured today would be a slow day so I figgured I would put the vise on the work bench in the back room of the wash to good use and rebuild my stearing rack with some of these new parts I have sitting here:)

here are some Pics of the progress

Last but not least the finished rack ready for install:rockon:

Lookin good man.

Hellā€™s yea homie
