Nice build man i would love to do a wire tuck but i hate wiring. Keep up the good work and how do you like the S2 front camber kit i have been thinking about getting one.
thanks fellas:up: haven’t put the Sk2’s on yet but soon, very soon
I took some parts to the powder coater today and im working on cleaning up some of these wheels to prep them for a little painting:)
Wheel are preped and ready for painting:rockon:
gunmetal YUM !!! Cant wait to see how they turn out! Call me today Ill be just painting a valve cover and replacing that cam seal! Oh and Mile High Acura Made a Key off the title for only $2.60 LOL Im Going to go back down and have them make more of those nice acura rubberhead keys for me LOL
Thats a whole lot cheaper than I thought it would be. That reminds me that I need to get another one made.
I went to drop of the stearing knuckles at the powder coater yesterday and they happed to just be wrapping these up and getting ready to give me a call:clap:
Now I just need to find time to get out in the garage and get to work.
yesterday I pressed my ES bussings into the front lower control arms
And tonight I got the drivers side striped down:rockon:
Last night I moved on to the drivers side and got it all striped down with the help of MRPenny, word up homie
all stiped down and ready for cleaning
I also brought my newly powder coated knuckels to work to clean out the bearing, ball joint and bolt threads
Fit just perfectly
after striping down the suspension from the pass side me and MRPenny decided to tackle pressing of the new bearings into the knuckle aswell as pressing out the old bushing from the front upper control arm mounts
Before and after
Next up, removal and swap of the rear crossmember, stearing rack, and swaybar assembly:rockon:
Ive been out in the garage all day. the old crossmember as well every thing else from the front wheel wells is out. now its time to start spraying on new under coat:rockon:
Man this build is so rad. I’ve read a post here and there, but I just sat down and read the whole thing start to finish. I know a lot of hard work and dedication has gone into this, but you make it look really easy. I think its also really cool that you have such a close network of other members helping out, so big props to those guys too.
I’m subscribed. Can’t wait to see the front end finished up!

thank mang, Its always good to hear words of encouragement
here is the progress made in the last couple of days, yesterday I got the ball joints pressed in the knuckles. I usualy use the heating and cooling method but even after having the ball joints in the frezzer for over 8 hours they still didnt want to drop in, so I ended up using a couple of sockets and a C clamp to press them in
Today I started by removing the dead pedal, stearing linkage, shifter linkages, rear motor mount bolt and cat from the car in order to prep the rear crossmember for removal
Ill have to finish this up tomarrow, Apperently the admin at photobucket decided they wanted to a little site maintenence as I was in the middle of uploading pics:(
Till then, im going to go celabrate saint patty’s day with a couple of drinks
just read ALL 9 pages and all i can say is WOW!
good shit. i need some tips when i start wrenching on my car again. props to you bc i quit working on my DA over a year ago bc of all the headaches i ran into but now im back on it.
gl with the build. boost would be better! oh yeah whats the point of the DC trail arm?
Wow, awesome.
I want to do the same with my suspension, powder coat it all and rebuild everything.

thanks man, air tools tend to help get rid of some of those headaches:)
I went with the DC arm for future upgrades since there tend to be more options in T/A bushing vs the DA model and yes boost will be something i will getting into hopefully by the end of the year:rockon:

Its been a very trying and expensive project for me but well worth every penny IMO, BTW when you decide to make a couple extra S2000 cluster that are plug and play, you go ahead and let me know. that thing is the strait pimp shit and I love it :salute:
I was finnaly able to upload the rest of my picture from the progress made yesterday. I last ended with getting ready to drop the crossmember. with the help of a couple jack and the extra hands of my brother, here it is comming down
With everything out of the wheel well, its time to clean and to start prepping for some new rubber under coat
Before:
After with masking:
here they are after a couple of coats of undercoating
On todays to do list, getting the new crossmember into place and bolted up along with the stearing rack:sipread:
Well its been a productive day, I started by getting the new crossmember up and into place with the help of a good buddy of mine who came over this morning
I probly couldnt have done this with out him
Old vs New
all bolted and tourged down
from there I proceded to replace my shift linkage boot or lack there of, shall I say:rimshot:
then this after noon after helping my other brother put his traction bar and toe adjuster on his civic, I came home and proceded to put in the stearing rack
I finished up the night by hooking the rack back up to the stearing collum, putting the cover back on and putting the dead peadal back on.
Just waiting on a couple more parts to come in so I can finish it all up:rockon:
Looks great
thank you:up:
Looking good homie! Leave me some work to put in! Haha
