Thanks Carlito. I hate to be the bearer of bad news. but that was only 6 lbs:D
Care to share the motor specs?
about the same for me with my 2.0L B18C. my previous gt2871r boosted maybe 200-300rpm quicker. was faster in the lower mid range but the gt30 boosts more in the higher mid range. very interesting when vtec and boost all comes in at once :). glad you like it man! wish we could cruise our cars share the same style.
4th gear street tuning pulls from 1k to redline. Wow man thanks for allowing me the pleasure! Goodness that made my night blowing off on everybody. i could get used to this
Blkack’s tuning skills are so strong it’s going to pass emissions here in a week! Hehehehe
Care to share the motor specs?
nothing special about it aside from some arp head studs and crane stg 2 cams internally.
Thanks mang. Maybe just maybe, one day:up:

Thanks Carlito… glad you had fun.
At this rate. im close, ohhh so close to getting to a point where I believe it should pass emissions or be extreamly close to passing :fingerscrossed:
You gonna tune all our shit now Glynn.
Tell you what. let me get mine finished up without blowing it up and maybe well talk:D
:::UPDATES:::
Decided to put the teggy up for the first snow and get started on re-routing the turbo coolant drain line. in its current positioning, the header is melting the hose. While I do this ill fix the leak at the those hose end where the hose didnt seat right and the very minor oil drain gasket leak. just cant take the smell of that hose anymore:(
yo glynn looking good:) nice to see it all coming together
It’s just a little 28 hour/3100 km drive. No biggy.
Ryan, whats up my man:up:

Thats actually not a far stretch from the trip I would eventually like to take if she proves reliable enough.
:::UPDATES:::
well im almost done(too a point) with the a/f. just thougth you guys might get a kick out of some screen shots. I tried to catch them all about the same positioning on the map so you can see the differences in them. so enjoy!
Full throttle pulls…
Sometime in early september
Nov 16
Dec 10
Dec 21
Part of my cruising/economy tune
Run into one little snag though. Doing pulls when its 20 degree’s outside leaves me with ECT in the low 150’s. I have the ecu automaticly adding fuel to anything less then 160 untill I get to start working on cold/start up enrichment and to go threw the service manual to set it back to something similar to the stock setting. other wise shes loving the cold air. even with boost limited to 5lbs. she just seems to pull harder and harder. LOL
Till next time. Happy holidays to all my G2 peeps
not much glynn:) working and taking care of family stuff all the time
Thats good to hear. I hope the new year treats you well so you can finish up with that and get back to work on Enron
very impressed with your tuning skills
Thank you sir, wouldnt call it a skill just yet
:::updates :::
teggys been down for a couple of weeks, After one of my tuning runs I came home to smell fuel, after closer inspection it appears as if one of my AN fittings was leaking so I tried to tighten it only to find it was tight, unfortunately in the process of doing this. I believed I might have tweeked the hard line which devloped a crack.
The crack can be seen on the hardline atached to the fuel rail.
the whole line has been removed and I have ordered the required parts needed to fix as of today.
Since the car was indefinitely down, I decided it was time to tackle the my coolant leak the the turbo.
Radiator almost ready to come out!
Hard to tell from this pic but the hose is actually coming out of the fitting creating a space for stream to escape.
The secondary problem with the hoses routing. This will be corrected by just routing the line down instead of up. I just need a strait fitting vs the 45 deg on that is on there right now.
Whole thing is gonna require a little TLC with a tooth brush and some simple green
damn glad i run water only that shit looks nasty haha. i recommend running a heatshield loom over your coolant hoses especially since they aren’t steel braided. if you take a look at my engine bay pic you’ll see mine. works great and looks pretty nice too and will prevent the hose from heat damage over time.
GLYNN!!!
Hi.
HAHA well I belive that would be why the collant is blue to help identify leaks as such
it is steel braided over the actual rubber hose(see below), it just has the black braiding over it. As far as heat shield goes, thats funny you mention that, I just pick up some fireflex sleveing for the oil line feed. Might consider doing the turbo coolant feed line in it too since its not a huge job at this point.
HI LAYDEE!!! lol Glad to see your still checking in every couple years
A little update action…
Got in there and pulled of the coolant line and cleaned up a majority of it. Hose sleeve was melted pretty good but internally seemed to be unfazed
heres the main culprit. hose wasnt properly seated. Mahhh Bad!
Got a couple of parts to get the fan back in and the leak at the oil drain fixed.
New Plan! gonna cut the hose at the mark and put a strait AN hose end on it. this way I can point the hose downward, obviously what I should of done in the first place!
thats it for now, till next time.
I need a turbo lol, but I need to keep ac. I wish there were more DA owners near me.
