Blower motor issue

I recently rechared my ac and everything was working fine until one day the blower motor just cut out. No ac, air, or heat. Then a few days later i jiggled the air control knob and it started working again. It worked for a few more days and then the blower cut out again. No matter what I do i can not get it to work. So now I have no ac, no air, and no heat…again. Its way to hot in texas to not have ac and I know the blower motor isnt shot cause it wouldnt of started working again. I think it might be a short, but I dont know where the short might be. Can someone help me please. thanks

Does it work on high?

On my LSS, one day the fan would only work on off or high. I thought there was a separate rheostat or potentiometer or something, but looking at the circuit diagram now, it looks like that may be built into the switch.

Try moving the switch back and forth a bunch really fast, sometimes this will clean up the contacts enough to get things working again temporarily. You could also try getting some contact cleaner and see if there is any way to spray it in the switch without removing it. Or, since there are a ton of junkyards around Austin, just go grab a new switch and see if that fixes things.

Oh, and if you do find a junkyard with a lot of Integras in it, let me know. I go down there a couple times a year and very few of the junkyards up here allow you to go into the yard.

No it doesnt work on high, it doesnt work at all. Ive tryed moving it back and forth really fast and that got it to work the first time but ever since it stopped working again that doesnt fix it. Do you think if I take the glove compartment out and mess with the connector on the blower motor it might help?

Do you have a factory service manual? There’s a troubleshooting flow chart in there for this…
