blown fuse in my DA

my turn signal fuse keeps blowing as soon as i put a new fuse in and turn on my car! i taped off all the loose wires up front and just wanna know why it keeps blowing. any help is appreciated thanks

The fuse blows because you still have a short.

Does the hazard fuse blow if you turn them on?

What do you mean “i taped off all the loose wires up front”?:hmm:94

my harzards are cool, i meant i taped up all the wires in front which has something to do with my lights, oh yea and i dont have bumper ligths either, but i taped those off too.

If your hazard lights work, [fuse does not blow] then the problem is between the signal light fuse and the the hazard light switch, everything after the hazard switch is common to both the hazard lights and the signal lights, both the power, [fuse] for hazards and the power , [fuse] for signal lights go to the hazard light switch first.:idea:94

thanks bro ima check it out

okay u kinda lost me there, i changed the hazards fuse and the same thing happens, but hazards still work :wtf:

ROFL, sorry, I didn’t ask you to change the hazard fuse.

Because the hazard lights work, we know the problem, [short that is blowing the signal light fuse] is before the hazard light switch.

There are two power wires going to the hazard light switch, the white/green one is the hazard light power, fused by the fuse that you changed, that didn’t need changing because the hazard lights worked before you changed the fuse, that fuse is hot at all times.

The yellow/red (or just yellow) is the signal light power. fuse 1 (91-93) fuse 23 (90) it is hot when ign. switch is in run or start, [why it doesn’t blow until you turn on the ign.]

Your cars backup lights are also powered of that fuse.

So we know the problem can not be in the signal lights, that only leaves the lead running from the signal light fuse to the hazard light switch, [yellow/red, (or just yellow)] or from the fuse to the “A/T Gear Position Switch”, [auto] or “Back-up Lights Switch”, [standard],
Maybe the the switch is bad, I would unplug, whatever kind you have, [automatic or standard] the “A/TGPS” is located on the right side of shifter, the “B-ULS” is located on the under-side of the transsexual has a 2pin plug, with that yellow/red (or just yellow) lead and a green/black lead.:bowthank: 94
