Anyone know where i could go to get my rear bumper remolded, chopped or changed somehow, in Southern Cali. I want to get it to look like the M3 rear bumpers where the middle bottom piece is cut out for less wind resistance and it will accent my rear tie bar and canister style exhuast on the right side well, hehe.
you should give auto explosion a call. they are located in gardena. they’re number is (310) 329-6691. the address is 13805 S. Normandie Ave. almost every cover car i’ve seen in import tuner has had the body work done by this place. and as for the quality, well, check out the website at www.thebombshop.com and you’ll see. the stuff they’ve done will make you wet your pants. they also give free estimates. definately check this place out, they are by far the best out there.
judging just by that site their work doesn’t look all that special. Hell, all the pics they had posted are super small and not good quality. If you want to show off how good your work is you’d want to use large pics with great quality to actually give an idea of their workmanship.
I found this link at www.jdmhondaparts.com : www.mobworks.com Some of their pics are crappy too, but there are a handful that show off what looks to be really good bodywork/painting. I dig the bronze EK. and check out that S2000. I don’t dig the color or the style… but it looks like they did a damn good job on it.
dang man… you’re at UCI? I’m at a college right “next door” called Concordia University? gotta let me come over and check out your teg one day man. hit me up on IM (integdrag).
anyways… sorry i kinda got excited… you should check out Body Pros at www.bodypros.com They are located in Garden Grove… so not too far… but I’ve heard they do great work… and have seen some up close and it looks pretty sweet. Give’m a call and see what they say.
if its what im thinking of, you could very well do it your self … the bumper cover is pretty easy to mod as far as removing material. ie: drilling, sanding, vents, grinding, etc…
email me a pic of the m3 one and ill know for sure. if ya like =)
i took a visit to Wally at Body Pros in Garden Grove today… He did a good job shaving my bumper… i’ll throw it up as soon as I take pics. I likes:clap:

ever heard “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. the website does not reflect the quality of their work at all. only a stupid and superficial person would think that and let’s hope that you’re not one of those. that shop is responsible for for at least half of the cover cars in import tuner in the past year. including the cars from team techna. those would be a candy orange 93 civic with cali type r headlights and j-spec mr2 tails. a candy apple green accord convertible, a baby blue accord sporting a full r-34 widebody conversion, a yellow turbo prelude with a s14 silvia front and double spoiler job, and a bronze green 240sx with s14 silvia front end and supra tailights. all of which have had the body pieces massaged to perfection. all have had the door handles and antennas shaved. if you only knew what you were talking about then you would realize that they are truly the best. people send their cars to them from all over the country. that in itself says something.
Yeah, i saw some nice stuff inside I’ll be goign back to get more work doen as soon as this engine is finished. There was the new Ractive/Toucan RSX there that just got finished and my gawd:clap: It’s bronze… expect it to hit the shows soon.
