the problem first started a month ago when the engine seized and there was fuel in the intake , that engine was toast. I replaced that engine with a junk yard engine and the problem keeps on coming back. first the engine will hesitate and the check engine light would come on and the engine would shut off with white smoke coming out of the exhaust , also when all this happens I hear a clicking noise like a relay or something in the engine bay by the fire wall on the driver side. any attempts to fire up the engine cause a strong fuel smell and white smoke out the back. basically the engine is flooded. I have to wait a day or two to turn the engine on again. fuel pressure regulator has been changed and same problem. the injectors on the old engine are gone and my junkyard engine has different injectors , so its not the injectors ! maybe the map sensor ? ECU ? I think its an electrical problem .
