i couldn’t find any NGK 02 sensors at the local auto parts stores but they do carry the bosch sensors so should i go ahead and get?
I have a bosch, and it works great, but I wish I would have went on and went to Acura for the OE denso, because it lasted 15 years on the car, maybe a new one would last another 15. I kinda feel like I half assed it with the $20 bosch universal.
20 dollars? wow, the bosch sensor they’re selling me costs over 70 bucks. anyway, i’m pretty sure that the o2 sensor on my car has never been replaced but the car runs fine though. Should i expect a small bump in engine performance after swapping in the new o2 sensor?
for 90-91 the O2 are much cheaper. For an 92-93 I got my Denso O2 from ebay for I believed to be $60 shipped. Btw I would never buy Bosch O2 sensor again, pieces of crap.
If it aint broke don’t fix it. If it is broke, then performance will increase slightly, but gas performance will increase drasticly.
i just ordered one from ebay also…$40 shipped with insurance for my 90 teg
I’ve been using a Bosch cut & crimp $20 sensor for about 5-6 months now, passed smog like a champ & been running great since …
unless you have no choice… get a direct fit o2 sensor.
people can flame all they want… but take my word for it… i tried the universal and got tons of CELs
got the direct fit… and nothing ever since.
bosch is no good for me. i have a brand new one on my car and i get 18mpg thats right only 18 miles per gallon, and my car has no power. i dont have the tools to remove it right and get it replaced but i hope to god that the replacement one will not be a dud.
got my o2 sensor today n put it in alwhile ago…no more cels for me n the car drives so much better…no more bogging in every gear. so im happy with the denso oem replacement. took my bro n i no more then half an hour to replace.
i just ordered a denso o2 from oxygensensors.com $51.99 shipped.my local acura dealer wanted $245 for it.i told them no way in hell that was gonna happen and walked out.
Don’t blame your bad gas milage on o2 sensor. It could be a assortment of things.
heh, yea, it’s a denso direct fit from them, and IMO it’s worth it.
yes i blame it, because its always giving a lean signal meaning that the computer has to inject more fuel to make up for the lean condition. Yet the signal never goes up to ideal condition.
even my broken sensor gave me better gas milage.
i just received ngk platinum spark plugs, ngk spark plug wires and ngk o2 sensor today from sparkplugs.com.I paid a total of 98 dollars and it reached within a day.great service!
If you guys need ngk or denso stuff, i highly recommend them.
was this for a 90-91 or 92-93? i looked on that site and they wanted $75 for the 92-93 denso.
