braided brake line sugestions

im looking at 2 brands… russel and forum racing… which is the better one?

also do the russels have the place u bolt it to the suspension or is it just loose lines?

I heard that Goodridge G-Stop were the best ones to get

check Ebay for new Buy It Now at like $109.?? + s/h

technafit, they are wrapped with silicone hose so you dont have to worry about cleaning them yearly.

where do you get the technafit lines??

do you know how they compare to goodridge??

superstreet’s project flashback using techna-fit brake lines http://superstreetonline.com/projectbuild/130_0412_flashback2/

have you guys seen eather of those brands in person?.. i wanna make sure they do have the mounts… last thing needed are some of the cheaper braided lines that could posably hit the wheel or brake rotor if its not attached snug

goodridge and techna-fit have the mounting tabs on them. did you click the link for the superstreet article, do you see the pics! i’mm actually cutting my goodridge tabs off because my omnis dont have the brake line brackets on them and i’m gonna wrap them in heatshrink to keep dust out of the braids, zipties are your friend.

found out what the flared wrench was on craftsman.com… does anybody know what size that fitting is?.. i wanna have the tool on hand when i get to it

here we go spoon feeding you again. if you saw them on craftsman.com you’d see that they sell the flare wrenches as a set. more than likely the set has the size in there because the lines should be a standard size. if you’re that concerned with the size jack up the car and see what size wrench fits, its not that big of a fitting.

they also sell them in singles… and being id probaly never need them again for the type work i do… buying one for the brakes would work… i dont plan on jacking up the car again untill i do the work… the next set of work being done is inside the car, MFR, fresh air vent cable, probaly replacing the tails and tail light seals… people have replaced there hoses and im sure somebody remembers the size… my guess would be a 10 from what i remember when i looked at it… maybe a 12 but they dont make 1 wrench with both those sizes on it
