ok I was driving back from work today and noticed my brake light was on while I was driving and I checked to make sure it was all the way down which it was… turned the car off and it went away smile smile… at a hard turn and that dang brake light comes on again and the ebrake is definitely down and suggestions?
my brake lights is always on too. i have to disconnect my battery so it wouldnt drain it…
it should be the brake sensor under the pedal, but i hate going down there

Yours is a common problem on G2s, the brake light switch plunger stop is broken, [one of the dumber things the Honda design engineers came up with], the brake light switch is nothing more then a pin switch, [just like you would use on your hood when installing an alarm] the dumb part is the metal bracket on the brake peddle that pushes the plunger, [pin] of the brake switch in when the brake peddle is not being stepped on has a hole in it, the hole is plugged with a plastic stopper that gets brittle over time and will at some point just shatter into little pieces and fall to the floor, leaving you to wonder what the hell are these little white plastic pieces laying on the floor.
Replugging the hole will solve your problem.:)94
when i say brake light i mean ebrake… does this light in the dash warn you about brake fluid or is it another problem?
i wanna know this too! the same thing happens on my 97 lude, when i take a hard corner or take off to fast the e brake lights will come on for about 30 secs then go off
crazyboy’s description is word for word whats going on with my car need some help
[QUOTE=felixjr18;1956321]when i say brake light i mean ebrake… does this light in the dash warn you about brake fluid or is it another problem?[/QUOTE] Yes, the hand brake indicator light in the cluster will light up when brake fluid is low, hard cornering would also turn the indicator light on if the brake fluid is getting low.:bowthank:94
