what are you looking for? replacement? upgrade?
there are a few OEM refurbishers that do ok work and would be a direct fit, not exactly OEM, but close enough.
you can go with any number of aftermarket master cylinders also. you may have to fab up a way to incorporate the booster too, unless you remove the power brake system.
search DB1-R82’s posts, he has a good example of a dual master setup with a balance bar for proportioning, if youre looking to go exotic like he did.
if youre looking to get a car back on the road just go with a refurbished OEM unit.
Sorry I posted quickly as I was leaving, I am looking to replace my stock mastercylinder with another. Nothing exotic for now and I really want something that will be close to oem as possible. If there isn’t anything as good as a honda (nissin) unit than I will just buy a oem mastercylinder. I was just wanting to see if anyone has used an aftermarket oem style mastercylinder and it be a good one. I have use alot of auto store parts in the past on a lot of different cars and truck and was not very happy with fitment and durability of the parts.
Thanks,
kris
I bought lifetime replacement ones from Kragen. They are Nissin remanufactured ones and haven’t had any problems for 2 years now.
Direct fit, no mods at all and works wonderfully. They were about $45 with core exchange if I remembered correctly.
Don’t forget to bench bleed the MC prior to installation…
